I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 38 years’ experience in the field of geriatric and medical social work.
My passion for supporting those impacted by dementia was born out of my personal experience caring for my father and other family members who had Alzheimer's Disease. For over 15 years, I have participated as a healthy subject in an Adult Children Study through the Knight Alzheimer's Disease Research Center in St. Louis.
Prior to starting my private practice, I served as the Client Services Director for the Alzheimer's Association Greater Missouri Chapter for 24 years.
I am an experienced public speaker and trainer, have developed and taught University-level courses on aging and Alzheimer's Disease. Since 2022, I have facilitated time-limited programs for the American Parkinson's Disease Association for individuals with Parkinson's and their care partners.
I am train in the delivery of Cognitive Stimulation Therapy and provide weekly individual and group sessions through Memory Keepers, a modified version of CST I co-founded in 2020. For more information go to, www.memorykeepers.org

In my free-time, I enjoy reading, walking my Wheaton Terrier, Finnegan, and cooking and working in the yard with my husband. We are Missouri Tigers football fans and enjoy attending plays and musicals at the Muny Opera and the Fox Theatre and visiting other local attractions in St. Louis!
